Whitney Lynn Goold

St. George - Whitney Lynn Goold passed away November 21, 2018 in Saint George, Utah surrounded by her loving family. She fought lung disease for many years.

Whitney was born in Albany, Georgia March 28, 1969. She loved life and her family very much. This love was expressed in many ways throughout her life.

Whitney attended high school as Sandra Smith in Springville, Utah. She was a member of the flag twirling team and choir. She graduated from Springville High School on June 4, 1987. She then attended Snow College and graduated with her associate's degree. In her zeal for service and life, she served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Nashville, Tennessee Mission.

One of Whitney's favorite jobs was taking care of her great-grandmother, Hazel Christensen, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She also had many service industry jobs in Las Vegas and in central Utah. She took pleasure in serving and giving to others.

Whitney is survived by her mother, Brenda Whitney; her father, Michael Palmer Goold/Jami and her brothers and sisters: Michelle Anne Gallup/James, Paul Michael Goold/Rinda, Kimball West Goold, Preston Scott Goold/Holly, Laurie Anne Goold, Kameron Sessel Goold/Brynne Sheriff, Eryn Elizabeth McDaniel and step-brother, Thor Rankin. She adored her nieces and nephews: Christopher, Whitney, and Rachael Gallup, Mason Goold, Vyktoria, Vincente and Vanessa Goold, Arya and Amelia Goold and Kohen and Eli Rankin. Their fond memories of Whitney will dwell in their hearts forever.

Her funeral services will be held in Orem, Utah on December 1, 2018 at 2:00 pm in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building at 891 West 130 North, Orem, Utah 84057-4521.
