Donna Kaye Best Cheser, 72, of the Mooresville community of Washington County, passed away at 11:54 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.
She was a native of Washington County, born Jan. 6, 1947, to the late Hubert and Hallie Lee Coulter Best.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a former employee of Texas Instruments.
Preceding her in death was a daughter, Marsha Denise Cheser Oct. 9, 1976; a brother, Harvey Best April 25, 2011, and her sister, Marilyn Curtsinger Dec. 15, 2017.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Cheser; two daughters, Bobbi Kaye Hoskins (Nathan) of Willisburg and Sammi Rowe Anders (Rob) of Danville; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Tobe Yankey, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, officiating. Rev. Johnnie Bailey, a former pastor, assisted him.
Burial was in New Hope Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Draegen White, Isaac Sutton, Mike Lacey, Tyler Hembree, Casey Truhett and Terry Cheser.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the New Hope Cemetery Fund.
