Mary Frances Adams Lanham, 80, of Loretto, passed away at 7:09 a.m., Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, at her home after an illness.
A native of Washington County, she was born Aug. 30, 1938, to the late Oscar and Ofie Pinkston Adams.
She was a member of the Brush Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Preceding her in death was her former husband, Charles D. Lanham Oct. 14, 1998; two sons, Roger B. Lanham Nov. 17, 1976 and Martin Lanham Feb. 25, 2014 and three sisters, Linda Haydon, Bonnie Sowers and Pearl Anna Reynolds.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Wayne Lanham of Louisville and Michael Lanham of Loretto; two grandchildren, Misty Morton and Jessica Masden; a brother, James Adams of Springfield and three sisters, Nellie Lawson and Beatrice Lewis of Springfield and Betty Lewis (Albert) of Willisburg.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 3, at Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Everett Hood, pastor of the Brush Grove Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were David Calhoun, Keith Adams, Barney Lawson, Doug Morton, Ronnie Lewis and Wesley Dye.
Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
