Peter Rothwell Obituary
dies peacefully in care home.
Beloved husband to Cynthia and father to John, Peter passed away peacefully in his sleep on 29th January 2021.
Peter was born in 1937 and lived his whole life in Sheffield and in later life became a highly respected Solicitor.
Peter was the most dedicated fan of both Sheffield United Football Club and Sheffield Cricket Club and would have very fond memories of spending time at matches with his son John.
Peter's health had been declining in recent years, but his spirits never dampened. He will be missed by his family and his many friends.
Private service and cremation is to be held, with a celebration of Peter's life to take place at a later date.

My heart felt condolences Cynthia & John. I was a partner with Peter at Rodgers & Howe for many years. He was held in such high regard by everyone who worked with him. In addition to being an excellent lawyer, no more lovely and kind a gentleman could you wish to meet. He was a true legend. Though I hadn't seen Peter for some years now he was often in my thoughts and indeed only last week I was thinking of the last time we met over lunch at Baldwins. I will always have such fond memories.
