GOLDHAWK, MARIE ELEANOR (nee ANNETT) Marie Eleanor (Annett) Goldhawk was born on December 9, 1928 in Cairo, Ontario and passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in London, Ontario. Daughter of the late Stanley and Barbara (Munro) Annett. Dearest wife of the late Don Goldhawk. Loving mother of Jim and Felicia Goldhawk, Pleasanton, California; Donna Goldhawk and Kevin White, London; Nancy Haldane, Kitchener; Gary and Robin Goldhawk, Danville, California; Mark and Laura Goldhawk, Sunol, California. Adored grandmother of Christopher and Anthony; Ashley, Adam, Sam and Patrick; Camille and Claire; Danny, Erica and Jeremy. Survived by sisters-in-law Betty Annett, Watford and Lois Goldhawk, Burlington and brother-in-law Lyle Goldhawk and wife Margaret, Blenheim. Marie trained at the London Normal School and taught in both one room schoolhouses in rural southwestern Ontario as well as Rosedale Elementary School in Toronto. She was a devoted homemaker, a loyal and generous friend, a good neighbour and a proud citizen. Marie developed a strong interest in improving the understanding of mental health disorders, including schizophrenia and neurodegenerative disease. Marie was salt for the earth; she will be truly missed by friends and family. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. GEORGE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1164 Commissioners Road West, London on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Interment of cremated remains at St. Michael's Cemetery, Ridgetown. We are so sorry to hear of Marie's death.
Marie was such a great neighbour on Anndale Drive. She was Jean Mullen's best friend. Jean would have been 100 this July 31.

Such a gentle and kind person. She will truly be missed.
