Lenore RYCROFT Obituary

RYCROFT, Lenore Peacefully Lenore Rycroft nee Smith of Bethany Lodge passed into her eternal rest on September 19, 2018 at 5:30 a.m. in her 90th year. Her family Clarence and Emma Smith nee Loach (both deceased), Vernon brother (deceased) and Marilyn sister (deceased). She is dearly loved by her sons families Stanley Jr. and Debra Rycroft nee Price (deceased) and Stephen (who predeceased her) and Connie Rycroft nee Watterson. Her grandchildren Christy Thrupp nee Rycroft, Kimberly Rycroft, Anne Rycroft and Sarah Zach nee Rycroft. Her great-grandchildren Abigail, Stephen, Samuel, Matthew and Chloe. Viewing will be at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave., Markham, ON from 5 until 9 p.m. on September 28, 2018. Funeral to take place at Cedardale Church of the Nazarene, 471 Pefferlaw Rd., Pefferlaw, Ontario at 11 a.m. on September 29, 2018. Flowers and donations to Riverview Camp and Conference Centre gratefully accepted.

Dear Stan and family:
It is many years ago when I first met your parents at Kennedy Road.
I value the visits I had with them at Riverview and the time I spent with your mum at the Ladies Retreats where our friendship began.
It was an honour to be counted among her friends.
She was always warm, cheerful and caring. I enjoyed hearing her perspectives on various scriptures and learned a great deal watching her live by those same biblical principals.
Her life was a great example and encouragement to me and I know you shall all miss her deeply.
I pray for God's comfort as you grieve this great loss.

Rest In Peace Mrs. Rycroft. You taught me many valuable lessons during your time at Egypt Church. Lessons which I still pass to others now! You were a great example of God's love!
