VERA McGINN Obituary

VERA LOIS McGINN It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected death of Lois McGinn. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at Mackenzie Health Centre, in her 78th year. Lois, the loving wife and soulmate of Hugh for over 54 years and cherished Mom of Nancy (Andre), Michael and Mark (Jill). Beloved Grandma to Charlotte, Jeremy, Zachary and Riley and dear sister of Betty, Russell (Shirley), Gordon (Judy) and Ruthann (Ron). Lois was active in her community as a member of the Foxbridge Golf Club, the Uxbridge Curling Club and at the Lemonville United Church which she attended with Hugh. She always gladly volunteered her time supporting various charities. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Redstone and the staff at Mackenzie Health Centre for their exceptional care and support. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 23 Main St. S., Uxbridge (905-852-3073), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Trinity United Church, 20 First Ave., Uxbridge, at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Dear Mark and family, I was so saddened to hear of your mom's sudden passing. It was wonderful to reconnect with her this summer at Foxbridge Golf Club. We played together in a scramble and talked about our families. She was so full of life and not a bad golfer, I really enjoyed seeing her again. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

we were so sorry to here that Lois had passed. We have very happy memories of staying with Hugh and Lois and also visiting with her in Palm Springs.Our heartfelt condolences to brother Hugh, and Lois's children Nancy,Michael and Mark.
