REID, JAMES DOUGLAS December 12, 1927 April 3, 2021 Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, Doug of Thornhill passed away April 3rd, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Helen (Hardie) for almost 60 years, they are united once again. Predeceased by his siblings Mary, Betty, John and Shirley, Doug will be remembered eternally by his dear sister Jean; sisters-in-law Pat, Doris and Maureen; nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Cherished memories of Doug's gentle disposition and generous nature will be held forever in the hearts of all those who shared in his life. A celebration of life will be held at a future date when family and friends are able to gather together without restrictions.
