Dear Drozdowsky Family,
I am the daughter of Alexander and Elisa Kobzar. Sadly, our families have not had contact for far too many years, but we have spoken of the Drozdowsky and Sochaniwskyj families often in the last while, as my father reminsces about his childhood in Ukraine and his younger days when he had contact with dear friends like Anna and Steve. I remember Anna's smiling face and warm friendship with my father as we visited the store on Lightbourne Avenue. I believe I have a picture of myself and the Drozdowsky boys in front of the store. It was a highlight of every Saturday after Ukrainian school. Please accept our sincerest condolences - my father and my mother, who respected Anna greatly, are terribly saddened, as am I. Vichnaya Pamyat.
