ARLEY RAF Obituary

ARLEY WALTER ARMSTRONG RAF Veteran, WWII; Of Petrolia, Ontario Suddenly on October 26th in his 94th year. Husband of the late Margaret Armstrong. Loved father of Lloyd (Leslie-Jayne) Armstrong of Ottawa, John (Nancy) Armstrong of Stouffville and Janet (Dan) Lehman of Uxbridge. Beloved grandfather of Meredith (Todd) Kemp, Laura (Jesse) Fox, Diane and Aaron Lehman, Matthew, Rachel and Jessie Armstrong. Beloved great-grandfather to Arleigh Kemp. Arley served as an Air Gunner with the RAF 15 Squadron. He rose to the rank of Flying Officer and was decorated with a Distinguished Flying Medal. Friends and family are invited to a memorial open house in Arley's honour to take place at the Royal Canadian Legion, Uxbridge Branch on Sunday, November 22nd from 1-4 p.m. If desired, donations may be made to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Foundation or the Uxbridge Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Low & Low Limited.
