INGEBERTSON, CARL HENRY It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carl Henry Ingebertson in his 93rd year of life. Carl was predeceased by his loving wife, Betty Ingebertson (nee Clarke) in 2018. He is survived by his daughter Carla (Jim Black) and son Clarke (Michele), grandchildren: Krista (Elliot Craig), Eric, Cassandra and Andrew and great-grandsons, Hayden and Austin. Carl lived a full and accomplished life. Highlights of Carl's life include him being inducted into the Mutual Life of Canada Hall of Fame in 1992, and past President of both The Rotary Club of Brampton and Probus Canada. He will be greatly missed by family and all his friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Carl's Bursary Fund, which supports schooling for youth in the Children's Aid Society at the below link: https://bramptoncaledoncf.ca/fund/carl-ingebertson-bursary-fund/

On behalf of Helen & myself our sincere condolences to Clarke and Carla and their respective families. Carl played an integral part of our family from both a professional and personal perspective. Carl’s wit and charming personality especially his laugh will always be remembered as we gathered around the kitchen table. His active volunteer life is a tribute to his willingness to give back to society. Rest in peace.

My condolences to The Ingebertson Family. Carl Welcomed Bill into Mutual with open arms and was always there to answer questions or help in any way. At Christmas Parties or Conventions Carl and Betty always made The Rookies and Their Wives Feel Welcome. My Thoughts and Prayers are with Clarke, Carla and Families. Carl will be Missed.

Carla, Clark and Families,
Your Dad was a very special part of our church for many years. He was one of the founding members of the committee that was responsible for the building of Grace Court, a subsidized apartment rental building for Seniors. He cared very much that the church was involved in community support.
Our deepest sympathies to you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Your Dad was such a special person. He was always kind and attentive. He was easy to talk to and had so many interesting stories to tell. When our church celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2017 he helped us with the history of the building of Grace Court. I even had the pleasure of enjoying a Blues Jays game with him when I had been given tickets. He filled me in on the finer points of the game and got everyone’s attention around us as he kept a running tally of the score and the plays on paper. My deepest condolences to your family in your loss.

I would like to pass along my condolences to Clarke and his family. You cannot be in business like I have for 47 years and not run into Carl. He was not only a friend but a mentor to me. I have many stories to tell like many people. From reroofing his house when I was a kid to meeting him at many CAS charity events. CAS was a charity very close to his heart. He did so much for his family, community
and business. He will be missed.

We moved into Greenway in Feb 2020. Got to know Carl and enjoyed his view on life. Saw him deteriorate lately and encouraged him to keep going. So sorry for the family's loss. My sympathies on your loss.

The Collins Family have a long and wonderful history with the Ingebertson Family... we met on Daytona Beach 48 years ago, and have never looked back. We shared many fabulous family get togethers with our children, with Carl and Betty, Carla and Clarke, and then with the grandchildren and many many friends. Carl was always ready with a pun and his contagious laugh, regaling us with stories (some true) but all funny and witty. He was a Blue Jays Fan and a Maple Leaf Fan, through and through, and a wealth of knowledge and trivia on many fronts!! Carl was always generous with his time and talents, making lasting friends wherever he travelled, Carl never met a stranger!!! and like our family, many strangers became lifelong friends. God Bless You Carl, We love you very much, and are so blessed to have been part of your life, and to have you in ours.
