She will be reunited in Heaven with her beloved late husband Giuliano (2005). Adored mother of Giuli (Frank Pegolo), Nelli (Paul Domingues) and Doria (Domingo Leo). Much loved nonna of Eric, Amanda, Stefan, Olivia and Evan. She was born on September 29, 1931 in Savorgnano Friuli, Italia and arrived in Canada 54 years ago. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was a gracious and welcoming hostess and fabulous cook. Rina loved every trip she was able to take with her family and with the Coro Santa Cecilia. She is fondly remembered by family and friends in Canada and Italy. Friends will be recieved at the 'Eglinton Chapel' of McDougall & Brown, 1812 Eglinton Avenue West (416-782-1197), on Monday, April 19th from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, April 20th at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 640 Glenholme Avenue. Interment at Sanctuary Park Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Toronto General Hospital, especially Nurse Jean for all of their assistance. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Terry Fox Foundation would be appreciated.

Dear Giuli, Eric and Frank,

We are deeply sad to learn about the death of your mother.
We didn’t have time to know her very much, but she appeared to us as a wise, joyful and kind woman. She was the real memory of our both families!
We share this sorrow with you, Doria and Nelli.

We are with you in thoughts.

Take care,

Marie-Cécile and Jean-François

To our beloved Zia Rina,

You are finally at peace with Zio Giuliano. I remember all the comforting conversations we shared in recent times, but the memories I will most treasure are those of you and Zio always welcoming myself, Claudio, and Sandra into your home with open arms, loving us as if we were your own. I am deeply saddened to have lost the both of you, becuase it feels as though we have lost two angels. My family is eternally grateful to you and your lovely daughters who were always willing to help my siblings and I with tasks such as homework, or simply going trick or treating as kids around the neighbourhood. It is difficult to think that you will not be there to call any longer to catch up and hear about your grandchildren and all their wonderful achievements that made you so proud. Zia, it does not seem to late to tell that I love you and will miss you very much. May you finally be happy as you have not truly been since Zio left us. I hope you are at peace with all the other angels surrounding you. God rest your soul you beautiful woman who was a mother to not only your girls.
With much love and sadness,
