CEFERINA CARGANILLO ONGCANGCO (nee YANCE) Surrounded by her loving family, Ceferina passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, February 16, 2008, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Pacifico Sr. (1989). Forever cherished mother of Gerry (Zeny), Rene (Thelma), Susan (Ron) Falcon, Cecil (Ying), Jun (Gina) Co, Sixto (Annie), and the late Paco 1997 (Nenita). Loving Lola of Rhean, Chris (Holly), Alexis (Thiang), Steven (Jenn), Richard (Constance), Dean, Christine, Melissa (Paulo), Nikki, Jesse, Lisa, Jill, P.J. (Jerry), Joanna (Darrell), Reinnier, Michelle, Grace (Sean), and Michael. Great Grand Lola of Halle, Trinity, Maverick, Sophie, Tristan, Gabriel and Raiyen. Mrs. Ongcangco is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines until Wednesday at 9 a.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 3 Lyman St., on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. Following Mass, Rite of Committal will be held at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Public visitation will take place on Monday, February 18th, from 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 9 p.m., also on Tuesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. Ceferina's witty humour and generosity will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
