DR. CYRIL ROTENBERG March 9, 1920 - April 10, 2009 In his ninetieth year, Dr. Cyril Rotenberg passed away quietly at his home on Friday morning, April 10, 2009. Physician, husband, father, grandfather and friend, he lived a full and dynamic life. Son of Max and Sarah Rotenberg, he qualified as a doctor at the age of twenty-three. An energetic man, he had a leading career as a radiologist, including being Head of Radiology at Toronto East General Hospital, and was a successful partner in Constellation Assurance Company of Canada. Husband of Gertrude Rotenberg for fifty-six years and Miriam (Bubbles) Rotenberg for eight, brother of Hertzel and Marcus, father of Lawrence (Bonnie), David (Susan), Bobby (Vaune) and Matthew (Lisa), grandfather of Michael, Jordana, Joey, Beth, Peter, Ethan, Helen Ann, Jeffery and Carrie. He was loved by all and will be remembered for his magical smile and his eternal kindness. Funeral will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2009, at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West, (west of Dufferin). Exact details are not available at this time.
