When I heard the news of the passing of Mr. Prescott I was certainly heart broken. I first met Mr & Mrs Prescott through their son Neil and a few later I met Michael. It was the love of football that brought Neil and I together at an early age and we remained friends many years after as Neil soon became the Best Man at my wedding. Its was only then did I learn the full names Mrs Prescott because they were respectfully always Mr & Mrs to me....we needed it for the wedding invitations. I remember asking Neil "what's your Mom and Dad's name. I still smile when I think of that day 34 years ago.

Although time passes and people drift apart I stayed in touch with Mr. Prescott exchanging messages about fishing and family and as a diehard Oshawa Generals fan the odd poke about those dirty Pete's. I always found Mr. Prescott firm but fair and quick to respond to something he firmly believed in which is a trait I have incredible respect for. My wife Lisa and I would see Mr & Mrs Prescott when they would travel to near bye craft shows so we could catch up and I still have a few things he made including a wooden pen, nothing like finding another talent after retirement.

The world lost a couple of gems in Mr & Mrs Prescott and my heart truly aches at their departure from this life. Mrs Prescott was one of the kindest people I knew, I can still see her standing at the door with an apron onsmiling and waving as I picked Neil up for Football practice. Sincere condolences from my family to the entire Prescott family, extended and beyond. Lisa and I are hear for you, we never left. Much love until we see each other again...Peace Out.
