Dear Desrochers Family,

Our family has never met yours yet Coach Dave has had a lasting impact on our son, Jared. Jared played for the Flyers for 4 years under Coach Dave. He was an unfailingly positive person and so supportive of Jared and the whole team. He was an awesome coach and an awesome person. We are so very sorry for your loss

Words just never seem adequate... Dear Sandy, Chantale, and Braden - I was truly saddened to hear of Dave's passing this week. I think of your family often and although we haven't been in contact since I moved away, I still miss all the good times we had. I will always remember Dave for his love of life - his smile, his sense of humour, and for what a great neighbour and friend he was to us. We cross paths with so many people in this life, and he was one of the best. He is in a better place now, and I know that he will be watching over you with pride, joy, and contentment for the wonderful family and life you built together.

I was so very sad to hear about Dave's death. He was a wonderful man - a true gift from God and everyone who met Dave was indeed blessed. I will miss his beautiful smile, his sense of humour and his compassion for others. I will always cherish my memories of Dave throughout our years of our daughters playing baseball together in house league and in rep. The barbeques, the year-end baseball parties!!! May God bless each of you during this difficult time and may he always be at your side for comfort and guidance. Remember, Dave has not left us - he will always be with us - just talk to him because he will never leave the ones he has loved alone. He will be a GREAT guardian angel!!! God bless. Love always, Anne Marie xoxo
