Dennis Hewitt Obituary
HEWITT, Dennis D. - Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on November 17, 2009 at the age of 62, after a short battle with cancer. Dennis will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Denise (Chris), son Dennis Jr. (Julie) and their mother Priscilla. Also, his sister Anne Marie and brothers Jim (Marlene), Bill (Karen), Bob (Mary), his nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members, as well as many friends including his NASCAR buddies. We are all saddened by the loss of this fun-loving man who maintained his trademark sense of humour to the end. Dennis had a generous heart as big as the ocean. Flowers may be sent to the upcoming Celebration of Life (details from Bob Hewitt at [email protected]). Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.

mr d you will always be in my heart and on my mind. you were always there for me and i will never forget your big kind heart and the humor that went with it. coffee at tim horton's has never been the same since you left. you will forever be in my travels and there is not a day goes by that i don't think about you and all the great times we had.nascar lost 2 legends in the past few years;dale sr. and mr. d . 2 true legends. we will miss you buddy.
