It was such a privilege to meet Don and Gracie when Steve and I visited from Texas with Pat Bardsley. He was so entertaining with his stories and such a gentleman with a grand sense of humor. He was delightful and we viewed him as a real hero. We were saddened to hear of his passing, but so thankful that we crossed paths. Sending our sincere condolences to the family.

It was a privilege to meet Mr. Elliot and to learn about his life and service as we travelled to London last June for the unveiling of the Bomber Command Memorial. He was a delightful man and a true Canadian hero. I'm honoured to have met him and to have had the incredible opportunity to spend a few unforgettable days with him, his comrades and their loved ones. My deepest condolences on your loss.

Thank you for sharing your Dad with me. Don will live on forever in my wonderful memories. Gracie and Don were incredible people and lived life to its fullest. So blessed to have been part of it during their final years.
My love goes to Don and Gracies family, who Don was so very proud of always .
