Douglas L. Moncrief

MONCRIEF, Douglas L. - Passed peacefully after a lengthy period of ill health with the comfort of his family's presence on June 8th, 2008 at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie. Doug Moncrief of Innisfil in his 84th year was born in Toronto, Ontario. He was 47 years employed by the Royal Bank of Canada and retired in 1984, breaking only for RAF duty during WWII. Beloved husband of Mary. Loving father of Christine (husband Justin), Scott, Brad, Tracey (husband Bill) and their children Rachel and William. Fondly remembered by his brother Ron and his sister Marjorie. He will be greatly missed by all. In passing, he joins his parents Harold and Beatrice and his first born child Diana. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME (201 Minet's Point Road at Yonge Street), Barrie on Thursday, June 12th, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. until time of Service in the Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Private family interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.
