EDWARD McCONNELL Obituary
EDWARD C. McCONNELL Peacefully passed away in his sleep on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of 58 years to Barbara of Campbellford. Loving father to Brad and his wife Tanya of Maple, ON, Laura and her husband Stewart of Campbellford, Greg and Mitch, all of Campbellford. Proud Grandpa and Papa to Chris, Justin, Jason, Steve, Gordon and his precious Ashley. Predeceased by his sister Dorothy Barton. Edward will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Former Police Constable No. 37 Scarborough Township Police, former Police Constable No. 1423 Metropolitan Toronto Police and former Fire Captain No. 192 Scarborough Professional Fire Fighters. At Edward's request there will not be any visitation or service. Family are planning a Celebration of his Life in spring 2014.
