ELISABETH KNORR Obituary

ELISABETH KNORR (nee GOSTOLA) Born March 18, 1932. Passed away on October 4, 2014 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by her husband Maximillian (Max) Knorr (who passed away on December 23, 2013), her parents, her brother Karl and her only nephew Hans-Jurgen. She is survived by Hans- Jurgen's wife Karen, her great- nephew Markus, her great-niece Astrid, her cousins Sofia, Karen, Reinhold, Ruby and Erwin and their families, her many distant but close relatives who came to Canada from Germany and their children, her godchildren and her many friends. Elisabeth (Lisa) was born in Hungary but moved to Germany where she spent most of her childhood. She immigrated to Canada as a young woman where she met the love of her life Max. They shared a love for dancing and were a sight to see when they danced together. Lisa kept a beautiful home, was a wonderful cook and was always so welcoming to everyone who came to see her. Tante Lisa will be remembered for her kindness and thoughtfulness by all those who loved her. Special thanks to Manny and Hildergard for being so helpful and kind to Tante Lisa in the last part of her life and the wonderful staff at Leisureworld, Brampton Meadows. A memorial service and reception for Lisa and Max Knorr will be held on November 1, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Leisureworld, 215 Sunny Meadow Boulevard, Brampton, ON.
