FREDERIC 'FRED' THORNLEY Member of Kinsmen Club of Oshawa, Vice President General Printers, Member of Oshawa Chamber of Commerce, Member of Canadian Professional Sales Association. Peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, January 8, 2011. Devoted husband of Dianne for 43 years. Proud father of Kristine (Dr. Simon Kingsley) and Michelle. Adored Grandpa of Natasha and Cpl. Rodderic Petrovic, Maxwell and Zachary Kingsley. Brother of Willard, Marion, Paul, Gwen, and predeceased by David. Relatives and friends will be received at MCINTOSH - ANDERSON - KELLAM FUNERAL HOME, 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558), on Monday, January 10, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at ST. MATTHEW'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 135 Wilson Rd. S., Oshawa, on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation at the church 1 hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Fred's name be made to the Oshawa Hospital Foundation - R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre. So sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I knew him for many years through Kinsmen and more recently in my work for the Canadian Printing Industries Association. I always enjoyed catching up with him and sharing stories about the old days. To the family accept my own personal sympathies as well as those of the Board of CPIA.

We could not of found a more wonderful dock mate for our time at Gordon's yatch Harbour. Dianne our deepest sympathy.
