George ANNETT Obituary

ANNETT, George Frederick - George died peacefully on June 9, 2012 at the age of 87, surrounded by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Lynda, sons Stephen, Michael (Adrienne), Paul and Brian (Erin). His five grandchildren knew him well and loved him deeply - Connor, Kevin, Mairyn, Liam and Milan. He spent his life offering friendship and gentleness to all who met him. His family, his extended family, including his brother Jim and two sisters Adele and Clare (Tom), his nieces Lynn (Steve), Beth (Martin) and great-niece Leah, and his friends will miss him. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at Thompson House, who made his last days comfortable and treated him with love and compassion. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at OGDEN FUNERAL HOME, 4164 Sheppard Ave. East, Agincourt. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Church, 3526 Sheppard Ave. E. Burial will follow at Christ the King Cemetery. Donations to Thompson House, 1 Overland Drive, Don Mills M3C 2C3, are gratefully accepted in lieu of flowers. May George rest now in the peace and joy of God's heavenly Kingdom.

To the Annett Family. It was with heart felt sorrow that I say goodbye to George. I love him very much and he Made Thompson House bearable.
I know he is in Heaven and I hope that gives you comfort. Hope to see you in the future and you will always be in my prayers.
