DR. HANSRAJ PITAMBERDAS JOSHI It is with great sadness our family announces the sudden passing of Dr. Hansraj Pitamberdas Joshi, on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in his 77th year. Beloved husband to Taramati. Loving father to Hitesh (Raj) and Kanta and doting grandfather to Janak, Hemaanshu and Harsh. Dr. Joshi will be lovingly remembered by his family, friends and colleagues across Canada, USA, Zambia and India. Dr. Hansraj Joshi was a dedicated teacher and Associate Professor at York University and previously University of Toronto for over 35 years. A graduate of Banaras Hindu University, he spent his life in the study and teaching of Mathematics and most recently research on Vedic Mathematics. He will remain in our hearts as a caring and compassionate gentleman who was loved by all. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 8 a.m. followed by the cremation at 9:30 a.m. at Brampton Crematorium and Visitation Centre, 30 Bramwin Court, Brampton ON L6T 5G2. Family and Friends are invited to a prayer at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 25th at Sanatan Mandir Cultural Centre located at 9333 Woodbine Avenue Markham, Ontario Canada, L6C 1T5 to honour his life.

It is never easy to lose a loved one, I pray you find comfort in Gods promise found at John 6:40 which says that soon we will see all our loved ones again. My deepest condolences to the family.
