UFKES, Johannes "Joe'' - Passed away peacefully at Holland Christian Homes on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Ann Ufkes. Loving dad of Joanna and her fiance Elio, Rick (predeceased 1980) and his wife Karen, Grace and her husband Kelly, Mike and his wife Marilyn, Ken, and Marc. Lovingly remembered by his 14 grandchildren. Survived by his siblings Ann, Mary, Hank, and Johanna. Family and friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home, 289 Main St. N., Brampton, 905-451-1100 on Sunday, December 28, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at the ''Heritage Hall'' at Holland Christian Homes, 7900 McLaughlin Rd., Brampton. Interment at the Brampton Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
