JOHN BADHAM On Thursday, December 8, 2016, in his 80th year, the great pipes of broadcasting legend John Badham went peacefully silent. He was often remembered for his energetic play by play of CFL football and was seen and heard these past 18 years hosting broadcasts on CHEX TV and Kruz Radio, the howl of the wolf on 101.5 Wolf FM. Loving father to Cheryl, Perry (Kathy), Paul and Shawna (Dan) George. My deepest sympathy to the Badham family on the death of a great sportscaster!

John was an electrifying "Voice of Sports in Saskatchewan" & play by play announcer of the both the Sask Roughriders and the Regina Pats, for a decade.

While I was recovering in hospital from surgery, John's broadcasts of all 4 1969 Memorial Cup games between the Pats and the Montreal J. Canadiens were absolutely thrilling!

John has credited my late uncle Don Lorimer, a Weyburn bank manager who encouraged him to follow his dream!

Love and Sympathy to the Family of John Badham. How well I remember, as a little girl, watching him on CKCK-TV. As an adult, I came to know his brother Mike through the teaching field.
I know that as you grieve, you will also rely on cherished memories to help you navigate. Take care and know you are not alone.
