JOHN JOSEPH MARCHESKY

MARCHESKY, JOHN JOSEPH Passed away peacefully on January 7, 2019 in Toronto at the age of 88. He will be sadly missed by Stella, his loving wife of 69 years, their children Dennis (Susan), Deborah and predeceased son Donald, as well as his grandchildren, Karen (Patrick), Kevin, Ashley and Justin (Natalie) and great-grandchildren, Hudson, Frederick and Olivia. John was a man of remarkable accomplishments. In 1964 John founded his business, FeMKo Metal Products Ltd., which continues to operate at the hands of his son and grandson. He was also a proud and active member of the Toronto Board of Trade and the Avenue Road Lion's Club. The family wishes to thank the staff of Rayoaks Retirement Home and Cummer Lodge for the wonderful care John received during his stay. Your kindness, compassion and patience was greatly appreciated by us all. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Centre located at 160 Beecroft Road, Toronto, on Sunday, January 13th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, January 14th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a service and burial. In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
