JOSEPH MICHAEL (JOEY) MURPHY Surrounded by his family, Joey passed peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Thursday, November 14, 2019, in his 77th year. Predeceased by the love of his life, Lettie (2012) and dear father to Nancy (Tony), Jerry and Maggie (Andrew). Cherished "Jojo" to Josephine and Valerie Pascetta, Freya and Olen Murphy and Norah, Thomas and Calvin Ferlejowski. Much-loved son-in-law of Nancy and the late Peter Rossi. Adored and spoiled by his siblings Alice Givens (Bob deceased), Monsignor Dennis Murphy, Sister Norah Murphy (deceased), Bill (deceased, Lynne) and Mary Henderson (Don). He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, his Soo family and his dearly loved family of friends. Joey was truly one-in-a-million, who was loved by all who knew him for his kindness, irreverent sense of humour and welcoming heart. Friends may call at the ROADHOUSE & ROSE FUNERAL HOME, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket, on Monday, November 18, 2019, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. John Chrysostom Church (Main and Ontario Streets, Newmarket), on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at 11 a.m., followed by cremation.
