I was honoured to meet and get to know Margaret through the Toronto Heliconian Club, though the time we got to spend together was too short. It was she, along with another member of the Literature Section, who chose me to be the Club's Writer in Residence for 2015. She was one of the finest journalists I have ever met; I was always delighted to have her edit anything I wrote for the Club's newsletter, which she, herself, wrote for many years. She will be much missed by members of the Literature Section.
