Auntie Margaret was always the life of the party. Fun-loving and seemed not to take things too seriously. I remember New Years Day at your house for years. When I told my eldest son, Sam, about Auntie Margarets passing, he was sad and said that he remembers instantly liking her from the 2005 (I think) BBQ you had for all family...with lots of bocce ball. More recently, at my mom (Eileens) 80th birthday party, Auntie Margaret laughed and joked the whole time. Sam said she was a really cool older person who knew how to have fun...and I have to agree.
She will always be remembered with love.

Grandma, whats new? New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire. Who ever had the pleasure of knowing our grandma would know she was always around for a fun time. Whether you met her once in your life or lived with her, you would know her personality. She never beat around the bush, always spoke what was on her mind and MOST of the time, was bringing people to laughter. And if you weren't laughing, you just probably couldn't believe it came out of her mouth.

Grandma was always there for us. From making us the BEST grilled cheese sandwiches, giving a nice back-scratch, slipping us cash or sneaking us in the house late at night. In the morning, she would could not wait to make our beds, perfectly tucked every time. Sometimes not noticing we were still in them. "Oops, didn't see you there".

Grandma enjoyed sitting on the couch in her living room, looking out the window (keeping an eye on the neighbourhood), listening to her radio while shuffling a deck of cards. She was always up for a game of war or go fish with her grandchildren. Her living room was stocked with coasters; you wouldn't dare put a glass on her coffee table without one. But it was okay for her to keep her full mug of coffee on the arm of the couch.

Mom was Grandma's only daughter. There was never a dull moment between those two. A lot of laughs and even more yelling, which was also laughed about later. Although, sometimes she would not admit it, we know she loved you with all her heart mom. She also loved our dad, her only son-in-law. She drove him crazy most of the time, but missed him when he wasnt around, probably because she had nobody to blame for leaving the windows open.

No matter where she was, she wasn't afraid of anyone and often reminded us with stories from her childhood. She did what she wanted, when she wanted, always had fun (sometimes too much fun) and always put a smile on everyone's face. She also didnt hold back if any of us werent looking our best, from an untied shoe, to not being cleanly-shaven, she never held back. She often didn't remember peoples names - including our friends of many years, but it didn't matter because she gave them a new one.

Grandma also loved dressing up, doing her make-up and hair and looking pretty, whether it was to go to the grocery store, casual lunch with her grandkids, for a night on the town or for a family dinner where the waiters knew her name- at Swiss Chalet. She loved to dance, especially if it was one of her grandsons, or of course, Marco.

Grandma was the type of person that would have loved for us not to morn but to celebrate her life over a family dinner and a beer, or two, sharing stories that for sure would make all of us laugh. Grandma, we love you more than any of these words can justify. We hope you are now at peace, in a better place watching over us, and obviously causing the same havoc up in heaven. Say hi to Grandpa John and Nonno Angelo for us.
