Maria Essery Obituary

ESSERY, Maria Michela (nee Arrichiello) - Passed away peacefully after a long illness on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the age of 51 years. She is survived by her loving husband Cam; son Zac of Surrey, BC; her parents: Luigi and Filomena Arrichiello of Toronto, ON; one brother Salvatore of Toronto, ON and numerous relatives in Italy. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 10th at 4:00 p.m. at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In Michela's memory, donations may be made to the Kelowna SPCA, 3785 Casorso Road, Kelowna, BC V1W 4M7 or to Plan International Canada Inc. (formerly Foster Parents Plan), Suite 1001--95 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto, ON, M4V 3B5. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.springfieldfuneralhome.com 250-860-7077

Michela, you are great creative and inspiring spirit. You really livened things up around Levellers Co-op. I recall the Courtyard Soiree and the Children's Art Auction. Your presence was always stimulating. You kindly called me and my dear partner Bruce when he was ill. I will miss you. I bless your spirit. Colleen Savage, Vancouver.
