Nelina MacPHERSON Obituary
October 31, 2009 – January 19, 2016
Peacefully, on January 19, 2016 after a 17-month battle with DIPG Cancer. She will always be loved by her mommy and daddy Heather (nee Moore) and Daryl, her grandparents Rose Margaret Moore, Lois MacPherson, Avril Moore, Bert Moore, Norm MacPherson and Keith Williams, her uncles Robbie (Rob), Bubba (Brian) and Uncle A (Andy), her aunts Liette and Candice and her cousins Max, Ellie and Mia. A strong-willed, passionate little girl who just loved life, puddles, rocks and planning parties. Her 2nd last item on her bucket list was to never grow up and we are able to honour that wish. She will be forever 6. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 30th at Eden United Church, 3051 Battleford Road, Mississauga. Guests can arrive between 12-1 p.m. with service to follow at 1 p.m. Bright clothes and happy thoughts required. Nelina you have deeply impacted so many of us. Where I couldn't believe my own appreciation for life could be deeper or stronger, or my love for Elijah any more elated, Elijah brought your light into our home and you, your story, and the immense courage, dedication and love for you that your Mommy and Daddy showed us all have taught us all so much. I will continue to squeeze Elijah every day and we will continue to keep you, and your family, in our prayers. In one way or another, there are many of us that will keep your light shining on and make sure your Mommy and Daddy are always ok. You are a blessing!! have fun in paradise sweet angel.

Dearest Nelina,
I feel very blessed that you joined our class but at the same time very sad that it wasn't for long. I will always remember your beautiful smile and your sense of humour. I remember your funny jokes and stories that would make us laugh. Your classmates frequently mention how they wish you could come and play again.
I feel extremely fortunate to have met a very special little girl like you. Your playfulness and determination, your positive outlook on everything and your sweet angelic face have had an enormous impact on my life. You will always be in my classroom, my mind and my heart.
