Oscar Jutzeler Obituary

OSCAR JUTZELER 1934 - 2011 It is with great sadness the family announce the sudden death of a husband, father and grandfather on Wednesday, January 19th at home. Oscar, beloved husband of the late Gemma. Loving father and grandfather of Rebecca and her husband Craig Pittam and their children Corey and Shawn; Eric and his wife Stephanie and their son Justin, Nicole (nee Jutzeler) and her husband Shane Hambly; Wendy and her husband Perry Delfin and their children Lauren, Jessica and Ligaya. He is survived by his sister Jolanda Christe of Switzerland and her family. Oscar and his late wife Gemma immigrated to Canada from Switzerland in 1954. Together they brought their passion and expertise with watches and clocks and opened the Clock Factory in 1978. It is there that Oscar could be found designing, inventing, repairing and selling time pieces. Time was the most valuable gift he gave, in more ways than one. He will be greatly missed by all his loyal friends and customers of the Clock Factory. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., (between Islington and Kipling Aves., 416-259-3705) on Sunday from 1-6 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday at 9:30 a.m. from St. Leo's Catholic Church (277 Royal York Road), followed by cremation. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family. Messages of Condolences may be placed at www.RidleyFuneralHome.com

Wendy and family,

We wish to extend our deepest condolences to you and your family. It has been many years that we have had the pleasure of having your dad as our client and friend. It was a pleasure to hear his voice when he called and we were always happy to see him when he blessed us with his gracious presence in our office. He will truly be missed by all of us, but we take comfort in knowing that such a great man was a part of our lives.

God Bless you Oscar from your friends
