Ronald Rollo Obituary

ROLLO, Ronald Grieve - Peacefully at his home with his family at his side on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in his 75th year. Ronnie, beloved husband of June. Loving father of Beverley (Bruce), Jimmy, Ian (Lynne) and Ainsley (James). Grandpa will be lovingly remembered by Alex, Fraser, Carson, Kelly, Jake, MacGregor and Kennedy. Dear brother of Adrian (Kathryn). For many years Ronnie was an active member of the Pipers and Pipe Band Society of Ontario, culminating his piping career as a member of the 78th Fraser Highlanders Pipe Band. Upon retiring, Ronnie was a long-standing member of the Judging Panel and served as President of the PPBSO for two years. Private services were held. If desired, donations to Hill House Hospice, 36 Wright Street, Richmond Hill or Bruce Gandy Bagpiping Development Society, 35 Paxton Drive, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, would be appreciated. To June,Ian and the family,
Joy and I were shocked to hear of Ronnie,s passing on the scottish Program today. We offer our sincere condolences to all of you.The Piper's Society and all of us will miss his warmth and fairness.
