MR. SUENORI TOMINAGA Passed away peacefully on December 16, 2016 at Scarborough Hospital. He leaves behind his beloved wife Natsuyo Tominaga and only child Hana Tominaga. He will be remembered not only as a loving husband and father but also for his commitment and contributions to Karate in Canada. He is the Founder of Jinbukai Canada and taught at the University of Toronto Karate Club for 46 years and at the Goulding Karate Club for over 20 years. He has been a long standing member of the Karate Canada and Karate Ontario Technical Advisory Committees, as well as an international referee. In his spare time, he was the longtime President of the Fukuoka Kenjin Kai Toronto, GO board game player and avid fisherman. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel, 3280 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, ON, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. A memorial service will start at 4:00 p.m. in the Highland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place at Pine Hills Cemetery. In lieu of koden (monetary donations), flowers may be sent to the funeral home on the morning of service.
