THOMAS HENRY STOWAR A Veteran of WWII December 9, 1925 - March 9, 2012 Passed away peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on March 9, 2012 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Joan for 62 years. Tom will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. Wonderful father of Christine (Corbin) and Paul (Lisa). Proud grandfather of Justin, Carter and Brendan. Funniest uncle of many nieces and nephews. Tom was so full of life. His passion was gardening and he always wanted to make people laugh with his never ending bag of jokes. He touched many lives with his kindness and we will forever miss his glowing smile. We love you. You'll have a new audience now for your jokes. I guess heaven needed a hero. A celebration of Tom's life will take place on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at North Bramalea United Church, 363 Howden Blvd., Brampton. Visitation 2:30-3:30 p.m. Service 3:30-4:30 p.m. Reception 4:30-5:30 p.m. Donations to Prostate Cancer Canada are welcome in memory of Tom.
