Mr. Roebuck came to Kitchener to teach English at Kitchener Collegiate when I was in Grade 10 - in 1954. He was an amazing teacher, encouraging enthusiasm in all of us for his classes. A real class act.

A lovely man and an astute observer. When he observed or inspected you, you knew you were seen by an expert who wanted to help you with your teaching even if you needed a magnifying glass to read his writing. He packed a lot in in his written reports. He had a long and full life. I am sure he will be fondly remembered and missed by many people.
