FAWNS, Vera Victoria (nee Harris) - 1935 - 2010 Vera peacefully passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital. Beloved wife of` the late Bill Fawns and daughter of the late Howard and Elva Harris. Loving mom of Peggy (Keith Kennedy), Lois (Doug Hogarth), George and Bill (Loretta). Proud grandmother of Sarah (Dave Jowett), Byron, Jason and Ben Kennedy, Jack and Robin Hogarth, Kyle (Krystle) and Carrie Smith, Victoria and Russell Fawns, Natalie, Donovan and Ryan Fawns and Sarah and Lisa Fralick. Very proud great-grandmother of Rachel and Caleb Jowett and Molly Smith. Sister of Murray, Alma, Joan, Linda and Donna. Predeceased by brothers Paul, Ray and Elmer. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Vera had a courageous 40 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Family and friends were one of her greatest joys in life. She leaves a legacy of perseVERAnce... The family would like to thank the thoughtful staff at Reachview Village Nursing Home and Uxbridge Cottage Hospital. Thanks to Dr. Batton and Dr. Bryon for their care. A visitation will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge, 905-852-3073, on Sunday, May 2, 2010 form 1-3 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 3:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. In Vera's memory, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. Online condolences can be made at www.lowandlow.ca
