I had the honour of working with Art on many projects relating to the Museum of Man, then the Museum of Civilization in the Ottawa area. He was one of the most creative, and interesting people I (and my wife and son) have had the good fortune to meet.

His curiosity of all things and his sincere interest in your opinion, were attributes to be admired. We treasured our visits to his studio and home, where he would regale us with stories of his travels.

Every day we travel through Aylmer Quebec near our home we see and always admire a bronze sculpture of his that is on the lawn of the old Library. Later today I will post a favourite photo I took of Art in his studio
