David Harvey Obituary

HARVEY, David 1909-2008 Peacefully in his 99th year at the Westbury Long Term Care Facility on Saturday, March 8th, after a very long and full life. Loved brother of Kay Hornsby and husband Joe, Violet, the late Doris, Betty, Jessie and George. Brother-in-law to Winnie. Beloved uncle of the late Jimmy Gradwell. Dearly missed by nieces and nephews, Dianne (Ralph) and family, Sue (Henry), David, Michael (Henrietta) and family. Long time cherished friend of Reva Lawry. The family wishes to sincerely thank the 2nd floor staff at The Westbury who treated David with much care, love, dignity and friendship during his time there. Visitation to celebrate David's life will take place on Saturday, March 15th at Turner & Porter Funeral Home (Butler Chapel), 4933 Dundas Street West, Toronto (between Islington and Kipling Aves.) from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a service at 3:00 p.m. and a reception to follow. The family gratefully declines the acceptance of flowers, and asks that donations be made to the Dorothy Ley Hospice, Toronto Grace Hospital or a charity of your choice.
