Dear Gloria, Danny, Barlo, Mark,Andre and grandchildren: Kali, Nathan, Kyle, and Braeden,
No words ever make sense of the pain you all feel right now, but please know that we have you all in our thoughts and prayers. Gloria, we are truly thankful of our get together, when we were up to Toronto with Tim's school. The kindness and generosity that you both show family and adopted family is a mark of special people. Art's willingness to drive anywhere for an hour visit speaks to his sense loyalty to friends and family. His sense of service to other is yet another mark of the true gentleman Art truly was and he should be a model for those of us who had the good fortune to be a part of Art's life.
Thoughts and many prayers,
Tim & Frances Anne Lerette, Halifax, Nova Scotia
P.S. One final thought that strikes Tim is that no one could fold a plastic bag like Art.

To my Aunt Gloria and my cousins Danny and his family and Mark and his family.
Your father and my uncle was a man who gave so much to his family and the extended family. To aunt Marie he was a great support when we lost dad. To me he tried to be a best friend and guide in my life. He had more friends then you could count and the love towards his fellow man was beyond reproach.
Uncle Art I will never forget the man that you where and will never forget the memories I keep in my mind and my heart, you excepted Donna as a part of our family and have always shown the greatest respect to all.
I and mother and Donna and my son Robbie will miss you and will never forget you.

I will always remember how he used to scare the beans out of us every Hallowe'en, and how he rescued and returned my little pet chicken. He was such a sweet, kind, and gentle man.
