Nearly July 18, 2021. I'm thinking of you and miss you my dear friend. I know that you are at peace and I can see your bright eyes and beautiful smile to this day. I think of you often and I know you are always close at heart, and with me still.
Tessa & Alexa, you meant the world to your mother. She loves you "to the moon and back", always has, always will. I've no doubt that you two girls have grown into the strong, confident, brilliant & beautiful women she knew you would, like mother, like daughters.

The family of our beloved Jennifer wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of Jennifer’s friends, colleagues, and acquaintances who have supported us during this most difficult of times. The sudden passing of our dear mother, daughter, sister, and partner is difficult to understand. Please know that your expressions of sympathy, cards and messages of condolence, and donations to Sick Kids Foundation have been helpful and appreciated as we attempt deal with our grief. Jennifer was unique. A wonderful spirit who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dear Freda - I can't begin to imagine the loss and sorrow you and your family must feel. I remember Jennifer as warm and gracious with a ready smile and so family oriented. I've no doubt she was a wonderful mom who will live on through her daughters. My sincere sympathies to all.

Mere words cannot express my heartfelt sorrow at the loss of a wonderful daughter, mother, partner, and friend to all who knew Jennifer. Jennifer was devoted to her daughters and her memory will live on in their hearts forever. As a co-worker who has known Jennifer for many years, I will undoubtedly miss Jennifer's smile and good nature. She will be remembered!

Like everyone, my emotions are in such a turmoil it is difficult to find a safe place for them to light. Working with Jennifer over the years we have laughed together, cryed together, fought each other, supported each other, drifted apart and back together as all relationships do. It is our memories that will keep Jen alive - one of my favourite memories is when Jen took my 8 year old out shopping for her first "little black dress", braided her hair, added a touch of make-up, and sent her down to the OPS Annual Dinner/Dance to surprise her mom - WOW! Katelyn has very fond memories! I remember sitting Alexa and Tessa on the window sill in the hotel during another meeting when they were quite little and painting their toe nails - now that Jen was a mom, only clear would do! I can still see Alexa sitting on top of Jim's desk at his computer working away while Tessa was off helping the staff collate stuff! To all of you, hold onto the memories, share them often! My prayer is that God will hold you all in his arms to carry you through the next few days and weeks and walk closely with you during this sad journey.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Jennifer Dunham. She was very loving and called me "Pumpkin" when I use to work with her. Although her death comes as a tragedy to me, I celebrate her life as having been victorious. I will remember Jennifer as "The Shining One" because she was unforgettable.
