SHEILA PANT Our loving mother passed away at her home in Burlington, on Friday, September 16, 2011 at the age of 77. Predeceased by her loving husband, Henry. Dear mother of Nalini Almas and her husband Bob and Anjili Pant. Cherished grandmother of Asha and Michael. Sister of Malcolm Swing and his wife Helen of British Columbia and Kamal "Stella" Bisht of India. Childhood friend of Banita "Chun" Kern. Sheila was a dedicated teacher whose career spanned 40 years, from St. Columba's Catholic School, New Delhi, India to St. Leo Catholic School in Toronto. She was an accomplished artist who took great pride in her involvement with the Burlington Art Centre. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Burlington Art Centre, 1333 Lakeshore Road, Burlington, ON L7S 1A9, on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 11 a.m. Donations accepted by cheque made to The Ripple Effect Wellness Organization, memo: Roofs for the Roofless.
