BOWER, Arthur Frederick - 1920 - 2013 ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE - Flying Officer After a long and healthy life well lived, Art passed away suddenly in his 94th year after a very brief illness. Art was predeceased by his parents George (1955) and Ada (1958) Bower, loving wife Elizabeth (Lizy) Neilson Bower (2006), brother Raymond Bower (1991), sister Edna Bower Ward (2013), brother-in-law Comrie Ward (1978) and sister-in-law Jessie Bower (1996). Art will be lovingly remembered by his nieces Lois Bower and Lynne Smith, nephews Ray Bower, Jeff Ward and Greg Ward, as well as great and great-great-nephews and nieces. Art will also be missed by his friends and neighbours in the Peterborough area and by his golf buddies and staff at the Peterborough Golf and Country Club. As per Art's wishes, he will be cremated and a private service will follow at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the War Amps of Canada or the Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Provincial Command. PER ARDUA AD ASTRA
