I remember when we first connected and I made a joke about cops and you laughed, but we both knew it was such a lame joke. You were an incredible beam of light who loved his job, his family, and, all in all, you were courageous.

As a court reporter at old city hall officer cibulus was often a witness at trial and I noticed him because of his politeness. ..big blue eyes and lovely smile...I remember him joking about remanding a matter to valentines day and the judge teased won't you have plans that day and he said he hoped so....but when Feb 14 came around he joked it didn't work out.....I was shocked and saddened to find out only today that he left us. I'm so sad as I always looked for him and hoped to know him better. I type many police video interviews with him and one just recently...He was always so polite and professional well dressed and handsome...what a loss. .I also remember him talking about going to cancun. ...I trust he's in the light now...God bless you Clinton ..you'll be missed

I am so saddened to have just learned of Clinton's passing. I attended the Ontario Police College with Clinton and can honestly say he was the most unique person I have ever met and he made me laugh everyday.

I am so saddened to learn that you have left us, and I am so sorry that it took me this long to find out.
While I only knew you for a short while, you and your wonderful smile were not easy to forget, and you often crossed my thoughts. I loved the little glimmer in your eye as you watched for the reaction to your perfectly delivered jokes and one-liners. You made it impossible not to laugh when around you.

Its been almost a month, and it still feels sometimes like any minute you'll come walking through that door. I still remember our last chat (and laugh) at work. Sadly, we ALL take each other for granted, not knowing that todays words, could very well be that "last conversation". Miss u buddy.

I went to Sherwood Secondary with Clint. We used to hang out all the time with the MacDonald triplets playing goldeneye on the N64 and dying our hair. Clinton and Ken gave me the nickname Simon Phoenix from Demolition Man after that.
Clint has always been a jokester at heart but he is very dedicated and spontaneous. He had the idea for us to run the Around the Bay race one year. This was 3 weeks prior to the race and we never trained during the winter; in fact Clint never started running regularly yet. We entered and finished the race. he had one of the slowest times and we were laughing at the fact that a 70 years old man beat him. The thing is that we finished a marathon; something few ppl have achieved in their lifetime, and the result never deterred him. He started running more and getting into the gym. We ran the race again the following year and he had greatly improved his time.
I joined the Navy while he was attending school. I have been trying to reach him to rekindle our friendship and it saddens me to find that i was one week late. Clint you are one of my dearest childhood friend. you have such a positive vibe around you that attracts ppl and pushes them to be their best.

I had the pleasure of attending C.O. Bick and OPC with Clinton when we were both hired in 2007. He became a good friend, and was the most unique and interesting person I have ever known.
We will always remember his sense of humour, his infectious laugh, and his love of being a police officer. Our condolences to the Cibulis family - our hearts are with you in this difficult time.
We will miss you Clint.

On a warm summers night amidst the chaos of a crime scene I first met Clinton Cibulis. As I debriefed him it wasn't long before I was smitten in the way that older officers are when they come face to face with a fine young officer. Clints commitment to his craft and conviction to the fact that what we do is a calling made his a name I mentioned often in my lectures.
His deportment and carraige made me smile everytime I saw him, his uniform or suit always impeccable with just a nod to his true individuality.
Clinton knew as I do, that proffessional and conservative are not mutually inclusive, that even in the proffession of policing there is always room for a little character.
Clinton, I will continue to speak of you my friend, they will know your name.
