Dear Penny, I am sorry to hear (albeit late) of your Dad's passing. It has been a long time indeed since Carol and I got married and your gift was a painting by your Dad. Decades later that painting hangs in my home in Guelph. I think of you every time I look at this treasure. I wish you all the very best.

Dear Penny; I am just reading about this now and send my greatest sympathy. Your Dad was always so warm and loving. He will be remembered for being such a caring, gentle man with a great smile and warm hugs. He gave so much of his soul into his family and friends, then from his artistic side into the art world. I am so sorry for your loss and that of the family. I held him in such high regard from the first time I met him. He was a special man. Sincere condolences.

Penny
Les was such an wonderful person, I'm always amazed at how many people I meet and ask if I am related. Whether just walking in the park or stopping in at a remote town pub or even talking to close friends and discovering that they have his paintings, it seems he is known by all. He had a wonderful life. Sorry we did not make the funeral.
