There are no words to express my sadness at the loss of my dear friend. He was my Cote St Luc backyard neighbor and college classmate. I had the pleasure to have known Steve since 1963 when we were just young guys planning our futures.
He had all the attributes of a great friend-loyal, smart, reliable and funny. I always kidded him that he was by far the smartest person to ever go into anesthesiology. Even though we moved far apart we still kept in touch.
The good times we shared will always be with me. Steve will never be forgotten.
