DWIGHT POTTER Obituary

DWIGHT POTTER It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Dwight Potter of Etobicoke, on June 27, 2015 at age 63. Dwight was loved and is survived by his wife Brenda, his son Harrison, daughters Sarah and Hillary, mother-in-law Anna and brothers-in-law Denny and Robert Niksic. He is predeceased by his parents Teresa and Lou Potter. He will be dearly missed by the beloved family chihuahuas, Lucy and Lil Pup. Dwight was renowned in the investment industry and had a long tenure with BMO Nesbitt Burns where he was Senior Vice President and Managing Director and ran one of the largest franchises in the GTA. While Dwight had many great achievements in his career, he also found enjoyment in his fine car collection and in attending sporting events. He will be missed by Horst, Chris and Victor of whom he spoke very highly, and also by the rest of his team and numerous colleagues. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave. W.), Weston, on Monday, July 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church (3055 Bloor St. West, Etobicoke), on Tuesday, July 7th, at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow. Donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Please visit our Book of Memories at www.wardfuneralhome.com
