To Anne
Condolences on the loss of such a great man. It was an absolute pleasure to be in his company for 5 years as we all fought our way through Dental School and he glided through so easily. He was an inspiration both personally and scholastically and I am glad to have had him call me his friend.
Love to the family.

Great Uncle Jack was such a gentle kind genuine soul. He offered so much love and support to everyone he encountered. He was just one of those individuals that truly made the world a better place. There is no doubt that he inspired many to show the same selfless compassion he gave to others. To my great aunt, third cousins and their families; I truly am so sorry for your loss and hope that you find peace in the reality that he was such a wonderful man who etched memories into the hearts of all his loved ones.
I'm so happy that he will finally be reunited with Papa (Yank) and Nana(Red).

Jack was my first employer, a teacher, a mentor and a friend for many years. One evening we piled into his big car with Dr. Anne and the girls, collected my fiancé, Rob from the Architecture studio at UofT and headed to Spadina for Chinese food. They knew what young students valued and needed!
Jack was meticulous in his quest for perfection, respectful to clients and colleagues, and generous to everyone. He set the highest standard for our daily professional work. Thank you Jack; we all miss you.

Dr. Anne , Dr. Hali and Anne ,
I am so so sad and sorry to hear about Dr. Jack's passing . The world of orthodontics lost SUPERman. I still recall the first time I discovered this Great Man at the "Jack Dale mini residency at Harvard". We were all amazed at the finishes and we are so lucky to have met him, such a talented artist, giving and loving man. All days and moments spent with him are forever engraved in my heart and sole. Thank you Hali for allowing me to come to the office, I learned so much and I am forever greatful. I share what I have learned so others that did not have the chance to meet Dr. Dale can be indirectly impacted by Him. Spending time with Dr. Dale was really like "heaven on earth ", gosh I miss him so much ....

It was with much sadness that I learned of Jack's passing this morning. He was an inspiration to me in determining my career path both in orthodontics and as an educator. He will be remembered for his enthusiasm for life and his profession, his striving for perfection but mostly for his professionalism and ethical approach to everything he did. Thank you Jack for what you did for me. You will be sorely missed and may I extend my sincere condolences to Anne and the family.

Dr. Jack Dale was our teacher of Oral Anatomy , and the first person that we met on our first day of class in September 1970 at U of T.
He left an indelible imprint on me and he became my role model of a dental professional with his behaviour and sartorial splendor.
I'm so glad I told him personally on many occasions.
