TIMOTHY ALAN CARTER With profound sadness we announce the sudden death of Timothy Alan Carter on October 15, 2016. Born March 30, 1966, Tim grew up in northern Ontario and spent most of his adult life in Toronto. A graduate of York University, he worked as a film maker, game designer, professor and tenacious entrepreneur. Deeply missed by mother Laura (predeceased by step-father Ulrich), father Lindsay (Valerie), sisters Carey and Lauren (Jason), nephews Mitchell and Jake, step-brother Daniel, former wife Svetlana, family, colleagues and friends. Memorial at Steckley- Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., in Barrie, Sunday, October 23rd, 1-4 p.m. (service at 2 p.m.). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Building Brighter Futures Fund, Autism Society of Ontario would be appreciated.

Far too early for such a creative, passionate, interesting man to go. I truly hope he's found the peace that so many of us crave, however so few attain. Condolences to Tim's family in this difficult time. Lean on each other and friends for support.
